Walt: We are learning to describe ourselves to others

 All About Me……..

Kia ora my name is Tianah. I am 9 years old. I have 6 sisters and 4 brothers. I also have a niece and a nephew. My favourite sports are Netball and swimming. My favourite singer is Post Malone and my favourite band is UB40. My favourite places are Te hapua and Spirits Bay. I like Spirits Bay because we get to go camping there and we get to go to the water fall and we can ride our motorbikes at the beach. My favourite fruits are Pawpaw, Passionfruit, Pineapple and my favourite vegetables are Broccoli, Lettuce, and raw Carrots. My favourite thing to do is drawing and art. My favourite pizza is ham and cheese. Sometimes when my Mum is making homemade pizza she puts wine in the sauce, yum! And that’s all about me.

The art was to hard because I was getting a sore hand.




What did you like about my art?

My holiday

In the holiday’s I went to the marae in Ngatiak for my uncle’s tangi. My uncle was at Middlemore hospital. When he was in hospital he was very, very sick. Every day he will get skinnier and skinnier. He looked so small. That you could see his ribbs. A day after that he had passed away. On Tuesday me, my brother, my sisters and my mum went to the marae to help in the kitchen to do lunch and dinner. On wednesday they brang him to the marae. When they got there they open up the boot of the car and started to carry him inside. On Thurday we were  getting the food ready for friday because it was the tangi. Me and my cousin were setting up the table and helping cook the food. On friday it was the Tangi. It was so busy in the kitchen because we were cooking the food for everyone. After that we went into the marae then we all went to the Urupa. 

What did you do in the holidays?

Halloween

Walt: We are learning to write scary stories.

Today is halloween. I dressed up as a witch. I might go trick or treating in Ahipara with my sisters and brother. Last year in Ahipara me and my brother went trick or treating with our friends. It was amazing because we went to the dairy and got free lollie. Eva was dressed up as a vampire. She looked scary! Mr Masters was dressed as a Sumo. He couldn’t sit in his chair or see his shoes. It was hilarious!

hydroponics design

walt:we are learning about hydroponics systems.

Why did you choose this design

I choose this design because it was not to Hard to do and draw. The water and Sunlight makes the plants grow. The water Flows through the plant and into another Pipe. The pallet has two sides so the Sunlight can shine on the plants all day.
